StarJam is a fun, creative and positive not-for-profit organisation that is changing the way New Zealanders view disability by helping young people with disabilities unleash their potential through musical performance.
At StarJam, we believe anything is possible!
Within a fun and welcoming environment, our young people, known as ‘Jammers’, experience respect, confidence and empowerment.
Our weekly music based workshops support Jammers to discover their unique talents, in their own way and time. Participation of over 450 Jammers in weekly workshops, gigs and shows causes wildly positive change in the lives of the Jammers, their families and the wider community .

- Free to our Jammers, nothing gets in the way of our Jammers having a great time.
- For young people with any disability aged between 6 and 25.
- Spaces for 12 Jammers in each workshop.
- Weekly workshops in dancing, singing, drumming or guitar/band.
- Held in the evening and throughout New Zealand.
- 90 minutes of fun led by a talented StarJam Tutor and at least two volunteers.
