Sparrow Construction have almost finished the major Community Centre
renovations. Next up the City Council's contractors City Care will be
painting the interior and exterior and doing a few finishing touches. The
new floor is looking great.

The Aro Valley Community Council is running a survey to find out what you think about living in the Aro Valley – and what the AVCC could do to make Valley life even better.
 
AVCC chair Jane O’Loughlin says the survey will make a difference.

“This feedback will influence the programmes we run at the community centre, as well as future renovations to our facilities.  We also lobby the Wellington City Council for improvements in the community so it’s important that we hear what people’s priorities are.”

Come to Aro Valley and buy an ecologically sound, good ole' kiwi, locally farmed, pinus radiata Christmas Tree, and feel the nostalgia as you soak up that piney smell!

Our annual Christmas Tree fundraiser is about to begin, with all profits going to the Aro Valley Pre-school, Te Aro School, and the Aro Valley Community Centre .We will be selling trees from the 5th to the 23rd of December at 48 Aro Street, in the pavillion behind the Aro Valley Community Centre. 

We will be open from 12 - 7pm on weekdays, and from 10am - 7pm on weekends. There is vehicle access, or you can choose a tree and arrange to have it delivered for a modest fee.

P.S. - On Saturday January 15th we will be mulching Christmas Trees outside the bunker as an environmentally concious fundraiser. Bring your tree along and take home some mulch for the garden - the ideal solution!
